Meet Our Online High School Math Department Chair

Tom Robinson is one of ALVS's teachers and Math Department Chair. Tom is passionate about teaching math. He especially enjoys watching his students change their perspective and enjoy mathematics. Tom holds National Board Certification in Adolescent and Young Adulthood Mathematics. He was a 2010 finalist for Washington State Teacher of the Year. Additionally, Tom has authored three children’s math and science books. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis and travel. He is fluent in Italian, and has worked as a tour guide in Italy for more than 20 years.
