Our History
The relationship between ALVS and NBA Academy started in 2017 by providing the NBA Academy student-athletes with a robust virtual curriculum that allowed them the flexibility to learn and remain engaged academically, regardless of whether they were in a classroom or on the road traveling to competitions. ALVS’s NCAA approved core curriculum not only ensures each student-athlete is meeting all academic requirements but provides them opportunities to challenge themselves in the classroom as well. Through our trusted relationship with ALVS, our academic staff which consists of our academic teachers and tutors are able to ensure each student is prepared to excel at the next level academically once they graduate from the Academy program. Through the Academy program, we want to ensure a solid educational foundation for each student-athlete and for us, Apex is that online academic solution.

Why ALVS?
By earning an ALVS diploma, NBA Academy players are provided with an education that is aligned with the requirements for their NCAA college applications. International students are supported by an embedded translation tool, which allows students to submit an assignment in their native language and teachers to provide effective grading and feedback.
ALVS supports student-athletes by providing robust, NCAA-approved curriculum. Students are not confined to meet a minimum seat time in the classroom, but instead, they are focused on progress and NCAA eligibility. Due to the flexible scheduling of our courses, prospects can succeed in their basketball career without having to sacrifice a quality education.
