Important Enrollment Information for Individual Courses

For enrollment assistance, call 855-550-2547 to speak with an ALVS representative today or e-mail support.alvs@edmentum.com.

Teacher Requests

We are unable to fulfill requests for specific teachers. This is because we carefully manage enrollments to guarantee that students receive the necessary feedback and attention. Our priority is to ensure that teachers are not overloaded, allowing them to provide the best possible support to all students.

Refund Policy for Individual Courses

To withdraw from a course, a guardian can begin the withdrawal process by sending a written request to support.alvs@edmentum.com. From purchase to 14 calendar days after the selected start date an enrollment fee of 20% of payment will be collected for any withdrawn courses. Any courses withdrawn after more than 14 calendar days will not be eligible for any refund regardless of circumstances.
Note: It is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure the home school (where the student attends regularly) accepts the credit for courses purchased.  A refund will not be granted based on a home school's denial of credit. To confirm your student’s eligibility for credit at your local school, you may either call the school counselor or registrar for verbal confirmation, or email them the Course Credit Authorization Form.

Plagiarism Policy

To maintain academic integrity, Apex Learning Virtual School requires all work submitted by students to be entirely the result of one’s own effort. Plagiarism will not be tolerated , and teachers will not accept work that is plagiarized. Failure to abide by these rules may result in assignment re-submission, no credit for the assignment, or removal from the course.

Extension Policy

Students enrolled on a part-time basis in individual courses receive a maximum of 18 weeks per semester in standard courses and a maximum of 10 weeks for credit recovery courses. If additional time is needed in a standard or credit recovery course, students may purchase an additional 2-week extension for $50.

Students or parents will log into their ALVS profile, which can be accessed at the top of this webpage by logging in. From there you will be able to view the courses you have purchased and from there purchase the extension for the course needed.
